Climate

Catuçaba is located almost exactly on the Tropic of Capricorn. The weather is warm and mostly sunny all year round. The fazenda enjoys a healthy weather at 1000m high. In the summer (October to March), it can rain at the end of a hot day, but a lot less than in the nearby coastline of Ubatuba, the clouds being blocked by the mountain range. In the winter (April to September), it is usually sunny and dry, and cooler at night, where we use fireplaces inside and outside. Make sure you bring a sweater at this time of the year.
