The Hotel

In the heart of Brazil's nature and culture, Fazenda Catuçaba is a unique 450-hectare coffee farm in a coastal mountain range, bordering a Unesco natural reserve.

By opening a hotel in such a historical Brazilian setting, we intend to make available a very important part of the country's culture: the fazenda lifestyle.

More than a luxury hotel, it has the atmosphere of a family home, genuine, simple, elegant and exclusive with delicious, healthy food from our organic farm.

Around the traditional 1850's main house, 5 villas can be taken privately or split into large double rooms and suites.

Tranquility is total here: no TVs, mobile phone signal, or internet access.

Gastronomy

We bring to your plate the freshest ingredients from the fertile ground around us, cultivated with great care for our guests only. Coffee of course, (from this region which once produced 90% of the world's production and ensured the prosperity of Sao Paulo State), milk and cheese for the morning, freshly cooked breads, typical pao de queijo, fruit pies, local recipes like stuffed duck with manioc, tasty salads, farm eggs, meat from our cows, jams and honey... In the evening you may enjoy a caipirinha made of our organic sugar-cane cachaca and lemons around the fireplace, before a picanha, the local barbecue cut of beef.
